Eng. Tarek Roushdy – Chairman and Managing Director – Egyptian
Eng Roushdy graduated in 1983 from Cairo University Faculty of Engineering. His experience in the Oil and Gas industry spans some twenty two years. His first nine years in the industry (M-I Drilling) were spent as an on-site engineer in Egypt specializing in Drilling Fluid technology. He then spent three years in Yemen and a further three in Algeria with Area responsibilities. In 1998 following time spent as District Manager in Algeria, he was appointed as Managing Director of a newly formed Algerian joint venture. After four successful years he returned to Regional Management with the same Company taking responsibility for North Africa. (MiSwaco) He became a partner in Seaharvest in April 2005, and is Managing Director of the company operation in Algeria.
He then became the chairman, MD, and partner in ES upon its establishment in May 2007.
Mr. Amr El Marsafawy – Board Director – Egyptian
Eng El Marsafawy holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree from Mansoura University where he majored in Geology / Chemistry. He has almost twenty-five years experience in major projects within the Oil and Gas industry. Amr spent eight years with a leading oil company in Egypt (Gupco) several senior positions, including Geologist, Log Analyst and Petro-physicist. He then acted as consultant to the largest gas operator (British Gas) in the country, following which he took up a regional role with a key supplier to the industry,(Reed Tool Co) spending nine years gaining first hand knowledge of the market throughout the Middle East, North Africa and Southern / Eastern Europe. In 1999 he established his ‘own’ venture “Seaharvest” in partnership and has held the position of Chairman since that date.
Mr. Roy Wann – Board Member – British
Mr. Wann has spent more than thirty years in the oil business during which time he has gained a worldwide perspective. His early period was spent in the materials and procurement area, (Conoco) after which he spent time in the service function of a US global company (American Coldset) gaining further insight and then moved into sales with another US giant.(Reed Tool Co) He became District Manager for the UK and Norway both then with booming oil sectors, was then made responsible for the whole of Scandinavia and Europe, and in 1989 moved to the Middle East based in UAE as Region Manager covering total Middle East He subsequently became Manager ‘Eastern Hemisphere’ effectively of all countries outside USA and Canada. He then took his extensive experience into the joint setting up of Seaharvest Cyprus Ltd in 1999. His current role is Managing Director of Seaharvest Egypt.
