Environmental Solutions (ES) was established in May 2007 as a spin off for the waste management and solid control division of Seaharvest Free Zone (SHVST) operating in Algeria. It has inherited all SHVST history and it operates its entire ongoing contracts. ES target is to expand its operation aggressively in Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region. ES is a sister company for TIMGAD ENERGY, SEAHARVEST (Egypt), SEAHARVEST SARL (Algeria).
The start up of the waste management division took place 7 years ago as a response to the growing need inside the Egyptian market to handling and treating drilling waste in both on & off shore activities.
Since then and based on the following factors:
The growing activity in the Oil & Gas drilling and production sector as a direct impact to the growing world consumption reaching around 85M bbls per day up from 70M bbls 4 or 5 years ago.
The growing HSE culture and the focus given to save the environment not only through forced laws but also through public opinion, internal companies moral commitment and civil society pressure for a cleaner environment
The need to have regional companies that have better knowledge of their specific regions and can give the required focus & commitment to make a change in the presence of 2 or 3 international companies only specialized in this domain.
The company took successful steps to commit the required investment in both machine and personal to build a convenient equipment fleet and qualified personal. This step that the company took under its long experienced management team, positioned it as a first class regional waste management company in the MENA region.
